Welcome! This website provides the background to my novel Winter Sun, a novel about Newgrange that imagines an idyllic time of peace and harmony with the earth. We are at a time of crisis in our society and on the planet, and I hope that this novel and other material on this website will offer joy and inspiration.

The website describes the different stands that have influenced me. These include being born and raised in Ireland, becoming a psychologist and an academic, being an activist, experience and training in shamanic practice and ancient Irish spirituality, and developing my craft as a creative writer.
